2 charged in $6-7 million Home Depot arson, theft in Spokane

Two persons have been charged in a Property Depot arson and theft in Spokane that charge millions of pounds in problems.

Spokane Police arrested 59-year-previous Kennie Calvert and 26-yr-previous Sierra Fry, suspected of orchestrating a theft at a Property Depot on Newport Hwy on March 19. Calvert is alleged to have commenced a fireplace within the keep as a distraction, even though Fry stole merchandise and walked out.

The fire destroyed shelves of merchandise, causing an believed $6–7 million in damages.

Spokane Fire Department investigators and the Bureau of Liquor, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) determined the cause of the fire as arson, and law enforcement detectives commenced wanting for a suspect.

Calvert was arrested Sunday when police had been identified as to a different theft at a diverse Property Depot on March 29. She was booked into the Spokane County Jail for 1st-diploma arson and the independent theft incident.

Fry was arrested Tuesday and billed with retail theft with special conditions.
